- EdSurge’s EdTech jobs board is one of the best I’ve found online (it’s how I found my first job out of education). You can browse by job type (i.e. Sales vs. HR/Operations), keyword, or location. You can also filter down to remote jobs.
- EdSurge also runs an excellent weekly newsletter to keep you up to date with the latest EdTech trends.
- What you won’t find here: From what I can tell, EdSurge doesn’t consistently include job opportunities from smaller start-ups, or roles outside of the EdTech field that leverage teaching skills.
- ISTE is a non-profit that runs one of the country’s most prominent annual EdTech conferences. Their job board has tons of EdTech opportunities spanning small and large companies, school districts, museums, and more.
- You can sign up for email notifications to let you know when jobs become available that fit into your search parameters.
- What you won’t find here: In my experience, the filters on the site don’t effectively narrow searches down to something targeted (like “just remote jobs” or “just Sales jobs” ).
- AngelList connects job seekers to startup opportunities throughout the country. Just filter down to “education” and see what you find! AngelList often includes job opportunities here that you won’t see elsewhere, including early-stage companies with just two or three employees.
- What you won’t find here: Quantity — because AngelList is not education-specific, you won’t find as many relevant jobs at any given time.
One other thing to note about AngelList: it works best if you create a profile. When I first visited the site a few years ago, it immediately prompted me to create an account and upload a short bio & description of my work experience. This was enough to make me immediately close the window and vow not to return until I was a “more serious” job candidate.
Last but certainly not least, check out these NEW job boards created by volunteers who want to help transitioning teachers!
